Mission

"To provide supply chain services utilizing the best people and technology with determined excellence"

Overview

Modern Engineering's Productivity Solutions Division is unique in the market by designing the most reliable and cost effective product movement from a part supplier to the point of use in an assembly operation. This Total Cost Solution approach integrates Product, Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Container Engineering, Facilities Engineering and Program Management services along with our proprietary technology, The Virtual Engineer.

Today, the supply chain is becoming more dynamic and complex, resulting from an increase in outsourced manufacturing, niche products, part complexity and suppliers, while trying to maintain the current manufacturing facilities. By employing our Total Cost Solution and Lean Manufacturing Principles Productivity Solutions can predict and optimize logistics and manufacturing operations to meet or exceed our customer's cost, quality and delivery objectives.

Productivity Solutions has successfully integrated our engineering services with The Virtual Engineer to collaborate with the supply chain through one web portal. This allows the supply chain to view the part plan during the planning, engineering and execution stages of a project in realtime.

Our competent staff of engineers utilizes The Virtual Engineer portal to manage and disseminate all engineering data, files and drawings to the supply chain. Data Management is crucial to any projects success and our change request / event notification module ensures data accuracy and electronic notification to the supply base.

Productivity Solutions' goal is to ensure collaboration among the supply chain while optimizing the best Total Cost Solution for our customers.
